1987 (film)
''1987'' is a 2014 autobiographic movie of the director Ricardo Trogi starring Jean-Carl Boucher as Ricardo Trogi and Sandrine Bisson as Claudette Trogi. It is the sequel to the movie ''1981'', which came out in 2009. The movie puts emphasis on Trogi's teen years, when he was experiencing family problems and discovering his sexual identity. It also demonstrates the life of second-generation migrants. A third film in the series, ''1991'', was released in 2018. Plot In 1987, 17-year-old Ricardo (Jean-Carl Boucher) is facing the usual teenage problems, such as having a crush on a classmate named Sarah, despite already having a girlfriend named Marie-Josée, and having a car. Ricardo Trogi
Ricardo Trogi (born March 25, 1970) is a Canadian filmmaker, director and actor. Career Trogi was born in Quebec City, Quebec. His first two films, ''Québec-Montréal'', about seven twenty-something travellers driving between the two cities, and ''Dodging the Clock (Horloge biologique)'', a look at three men and their decisions about having children, were both critical and commercial hits, with ''Quebec-Montréal'' receiving four Jutra Awards. His third feature titled ''1981'', a semi-autobiographical film about a boy's coming of age, was released in September 2009; it was followed by the sequel films ''1987'' in 2014 and ''1991'' in 2018. The Blu-ray Disc (BD), often known simply as Blu-ray, is a digital optical disc data storage format. It was invented and developed in 2005 and released on June 20, 2006 worldwide. It is designed to supersede the DVD format, and capable of storing several hours of high-definition video (HDTV 720p and 1080p). Luba (born Lubomyra Kowalchyk ( uk, Любомира Ковальчук), April 24, 1958) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and recording artist from Quebec. She was professionally active from 1980 to 1990, 2000 to 2001 and is active again from 2007 to present. Career Luba performed with the band Zorya, which released a self-titled album in 1973. In the 1980s she was the vocalist for a band named ''Luba'', and in 1980 that band released the album ''Chain Reaction''. Luba later signed as a solo artist under that name. She released three more albums and two EPs. Two of her albums are certified platinum by the Canadian music industry (sales in excess of 100,000 units). A Flock of Seagulls are an English new wave band formed in Liverpool in 1979. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised Mike Score, Ali Score, Frank Maudsley and Paul Reynolds, hit the peak of their chart success in the early 1980s. "Space Age Love Song" is a 1982 Single (music), single released by the British band A Flock of Seagulls. It was their fourth single. Lead guitarist Paul Reynolds (musician), Paul Reynolds remarked on their 1984 video album ''Through the Looking Glass'' that, as the band could not come up with a title for the track, he suggested "Space Age Love Song" because he thought it sounded like a ''space age love song''.
