Bert Roberge
Bertrand Roland Roberge (born October 3, 1954) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Houston Astros, Chicago White Sox, and Montreal Expos from 1979 through 1986. Amateur career A native of Lewiston, Maine, Roberge attended the University of Maine, where he played college baseball for the Maine Black Bears baseball team from 1974 to 1977. He set the school career ERA record at Maine, at 1.82. In 1975, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He was selected by the Astros in the 17th round of the 1976 MLB Draft. Vance Law
Vance Aaron Law (born October 1, 1956) is an American former professional baseball third baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1980–81), Chicago White Sox (1982–84), Montreal Expos (1985–87), Chicago Cubs (1988–89), and Oakland Athletics (1991). He also played one season in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Chunichi Dragons in 1990. Law batted and threw right-handed. He is the son of Cy Young Award winner Vern Law. He served as head baseball coach at Brigham Young University from 2000 to 2012. College Vance Law played college baseball for Brigham Young University. In 1978, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, the same team his father Vern starred for when Vance was a child. The Pirates drafted Law in the 39th round of that year's draft. Robert Harvey James (born August 15, 1958), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the major leagues primarily as a relief pitcher from 1978-1987. Career James was the first round draft pick in 1976 by the Montreal Expos out of Verdugo Hills High School, where he had been converted from a catcher to a pitcher, and joined the major league team in 1978 when he was just twenty years old. In 1982 he was traded to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later, and was himself returned to the Expos as that player in 1983. On December 7, 1984, James was traded to the Chicago White Sox for Vance Law. John Michael "Jack" Daugherty (born July 3, 1960) is a former major league first baseman and outfielder for parts of seven seasons with the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cincinnati Reds and Montreal Expos. Larry Kenneth Robert Walker (born December 1, 1966) is a Canadian former professional baseball right fielder. During his 17-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career, he played with the Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, and St. Louis Cardinals. In 1997, he became the only player in major league history to register both a .700 slugging percentage (SLG) and 30 stolen bases in the same season, on his way to winning the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player Award (MVP).
