Allan Caidic
Allan Vito Flores Caidic (born June 15, 1963) is a Filipino former professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is considered by many to be the greatest shooter the country has ever produced, thus, earning the moniker, ''"The Triggerman"''. He played college hoops at the University of the East before joining the PBA in 1987, where he broke several Philippine and PBA all-time records—including the most points scored in a single game (79 points), the most three-point field goals made in a single game (17 triples; breaking his previous record of 15 triples), the most consecutive freethrows made (76), and the most three-point field goals in a career (1,242 triples; later surpassed by Jimmy Alapag). FIBA Asia Cup
The FIBA Asia Cup (formerly the FIBA Asia Championship and ABC Championship) is an international basketball tournament which takes place every four years between the men's national teams of Asia and Oceania. Through the 2015 edition, the tournament took place every two years and was also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and the Olympic basketball tournament. However, since 2017, the tournament was renamed the FIBA Asia Cup and now includes teams from FIBA Oceania. Also, it was the first to be played on a new four-year cycle, and is no longer a part of the qualifying process for the World Cup or the Olympics. Lee Chung-Hee (Hangul: 이충희, born November 7, 1959 in Cheolwon, Gangwon Province) is a retired South Korean basketball player. He played as a shooting guard. Widely considered as the best Asian perimeter shooter of all time, Lee Chung Hee was named the Most Valuable Player of the 14th Asian Basketball Championship, albeit South Korea lost to China at the final in 1987. He is 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall. He competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, where the South Korean team finished in ninth position. Samboy Lim
Avelino Borromeo Lim Jr. (born April 1, 1962), better known as Samboy "The Skywalker" Lim, is a retired Filipino professional basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association and many time national player in the 1980s and 90s. As a high-flying wing, he distinguished himself with his flamboyant and often dangerous forays to the basket, punctuated by acrobatic shots, hang-time moves or slam dunks. A five-time All-Star and two-time PBA Mythical Team selection, he did not however win a Most Valuable Player Award because he did not get to complete a full season due to the many injuries he sustained on the court. Sun Fengwu (born 19 March 1962 in Chuzhou District, Huai'an, Jiangsu) is a Chinese basketball coach and former Olympic player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, the 1988 Summer Olympics, and the 1992 Summer Olympics. After retired as a player in 1992, Sun left China and went to Singapore, and became the head coach of the Singapore national basketball team. The 1986 FIBA World Championship was the 10th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship for men's teams. It was hosted by Spain and was held from 5 to 20 July 1986. The final phase of the tournament was held at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad, Madrid.
