1984 1. Divisjon (women)
The 1984 1. divisjon (women), was the first season of a top-tier women's football league in Norway, and was won by Sprint-Jeløy. The league was contested by 30 teams, divided in three groups of 10 teams. In each group, the teams met each other twice in a round-robin, with 2 points given for wins, and 1 point for a draw. At the end of the season, the three group-winners met in a playoff to determine the championship, while the bottom two team from each group was relegated. Sprint-Jeløy won the championship playoff, while Trondheims-Ørn finished second and Nymark finished third. At the end of the season, Radar, Skjold, Samnanger, Nessegutten and Folldal was relegated, in addition to Vindbjart and Fonna which didn't complete the season. Idrettslaget Jardar is a Norwegian sports club from Bærum, Akershus. It covers the areas Slependen, Jong and Tanum. Sports clubs in the area before World War II were Tanum IL, and minor clubs such as Jongsåsen IF, Pil and Uredd. IL Jardar was founded as a children's sports club on 4 June 1962. It now has sections for association football, team handball and Nordic skiing ( cross-country skiing and ski jumping). The clubroom was opened on 9 November 1983. The women's football team was the club's flagship with many seasons in the Norwegian Women's Premier League. It also reached the semi-finals of the Norwegian Cup in 1986 and 1989. Fyllingen Fotball was a Norwegian association football club from Fyllingsdalen, Bergen, Hordaland. It was founded as a formally independent section of the alliance sports club Fyllingen IL on 1 January 1994. Fyllingen IL was founded on 6 June 1946. Fyllingen Fotball still uses Fyllingen IL's logo. The club played in the Norwegian top flight in 1990, 1991 and 1993, and reached the Norwegian Cup final in 1990, where they lost 5–1 against Rosenborg. This earned them a place in the 1991–92 European Cup Winners' Cup, where they were eliminated by Atlético Madrid in the first round. Sportsklubben Haugar is an association football club from Haugesund, Norway, established in 1939. Its top women's team plays in the Second Division and the top men's team plays in the Fifth Division. The men's team has played two Norwegian Football Cup Finals, losing 0–7 against Fredrikstad in 1961 and 2–1 against Viking in 1979. This qualified the team for the 1980–81 European Cup Winners' Cup: in the first round, Haugar drew Sion 1–1 away and then beat them 2–0 at home.
