Steve Baker (speedway Rider)
Steve Baker (born 25 June 1963) is a former international speedway rider from Australia. Speedway career Baker reached the final of the Speedway World Pairs Championship in the 1987 Speedway World Pairs Championship. Also in 1987, he finished runner up in the Australian Championship. He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1981 to 1985, riding for various clubs. He was the 1983 European Junior Champion, a competition that non-European riders could enter. Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The Speedway Under-21 World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. As of 2022, the title was awarded to the winner of the SGP2 category at the FIM Speedway World Championship. History Between 1977 and 1987 the Championship was the called Individual Speedway Junior European Championship (European Speedway Under 21 Championship), open only to European riders. In 1979, the Championship allowed riders from other continents to compete, but was renamed to the Speedway World Under 21 Championship in 1988. A new competition was named Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was founded by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) in 1998, only open to European competitors. Wojciech Załuski
Wojciech Załuski (born 5 April 1960) is a Polish prelate of the Catholic Church who has worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See since 1985. He has been an apostolic nuncio and an archbishop since 2014. Biography He was born in Załuski-Lipniewo, in the center-east of Poland, on 5 April 1960. He earned a degree in canon law. On 1 June 1985, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Łomza. He joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See on 1 July 1989 and filled assignments in Burundi, Malta, Albania, Zambia, Sri Lanka, Georgia, Ukraine, the Philippines, and Guatemala. On 15 July 2014, Pope Francis named him apostolic nuncio to Burundi and titular archbishop of Diocletiana. He received his episcopal consecration on 9 August from Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State. Armando Castagna (born 22 September 1963) is a former Italian international motorcycle speedway rider. He was born in Arzignano, and was a member of the Italy national team and has represented them in several World Team Cup competitions. He is a record 12 times Italian Champion. Career He rode in the United Kingdom for the Ipswich Witches and Oxford Cheetahs but he spent the majority of his career with the Reading Racers where he won the British League title twice. He has ridden in the Speedway Grand Prix series and has reached five Speedway World Championship finals. On 26 July 1997 he won the Continental Final, which formed part of the 1998 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification.
