1982 Norwegian Football Cup Final
The 1982 Norwegian Football Cup Final was the 77th final of the Norwegian Football Cup. The final took place at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on 24 October 1982. SK Brann were in their 9th final (4 wins and 4 runners-up), while Molde were in their first ever final and therefore had the chance to win the first major trophy in the club's history. The final between the two teams ended with a 3–2 victory for Brann. The goal scorers for the winning team were Geir Austvik after 17 minutes, Ingvar Dalhaug after 42 minutes and Neil MacLeod after 58 minutes. For Molde, Rune Ulvestad scored in the 21st minute, and Steinar Henden scored in the 37th minute. Øyvind Pettersen was sent off for Brann in the 88th minute. 24,000 spectators watched the match at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. The referee was Torbjørn Aass. The 1982 Norwegian Football Cup was the 77th edition of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The Cup was won by Brann after beating Molde in the cup final with the score 3–2. This was Brann's fifth Norwegian Cup title. Sunndal Fotball
Sunndal Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Sunndalsøra, Møre og Romsdal. It was separated from the multi-sports club Sunndal IL (founded 1918) in 1992. Sportsklubben Brage is a defunct Norwegian multi-sports club from Trondheim. History It was founded on 24 March 1907. its sports included football, athletics, boxing and Nordic skiing. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. Stein Olav "Laffen" Hestad (born 30 June 1952) is a Norwegian former footballer. Hestad spent his entire playing career at Molde FK, where he previously had club record with 681 first-team matches, including 249 matches in the Norwegian top division. Unlike his brother, Harry, "Laffen" was never capped for Norway. Club career Hestad got his debut in a competitive match on 1 May 1971 in a second tier league game Molde lost 0–1 at home to Aalesund.
