Natalya Valeryevna Bochina (russian: Наталья Валерьевна Бочина) (born 4 January 1962) is a retired Soviet athlete, who competed mainly in the 200 metres. Bochina trained at Dynamo in Leningrad. Bochina was born in Leningrad and was relatively young, at 18 years of age, when she competed for the USSR in the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, Soviet Union. However, she proved to the world just how fast she was in the 200 metres final by just claiming the silver medal in a time of 22.19 seconds. Bärbel Wöckel
Bärbel Wöckel ( Eckert; born 21 March 1955 in Leipzig) is a retired East German sprinter. She never ran a world record in the individual disciplines. However, she ran several world records as part of relay teams with Doris Maletzki, Renate Stecher and Christina Heinich over 4 x 100 meters, the last time on September 8, 1974, in Rome. At the GDR Championships she took first place in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981 to 1984. In 1976 she won third place with the team. During this time she was in the state-organized doping program. Biography Wöckel won four Olympic gold medals between the 200 metres race and 4 × 100 metres relay, two each in the 1976 and 1980 Olympics. In each of those years, Wöckel placed first in the 200 m and 4 × 100 metres relay races. Jarmila Kratochvílová (; born 26 January 1951, in Golčův Jeníkov) is a Czech people, Czech former track and field athlete. Peter Van Miltenburg
Peter Van Miltenburg (born 16 August 1957 in Geelong, Victoria) is a former Australian sprinter who specialised in the 200 metres. In 1981 he represented Australia/Oceania in the IAAF World Cup in Rome in the 200 metres where he finished 9th. He also ran in both relays that finished 8th. He was the Australian 200-metre champion in 1984. He also went to the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics where he competed in the 100/200 metres, but did not progress past the quarterfinals. He came equal 4th in a 100m quarter-final at the 1984 olympics. His personal best for the 200m was 20.69 seconds. Donald O'Riley Quarrie CD (born 25 February 1951) is a Jamaican former track and field athlete, one of the world's top sprinters during the 1970s. At the 1976 Summer Olympics he was the gold medallist in the Olympic 200 meters and silver medallist in the Olympic 100 meters. In all, he competed in five Olympic Games and won four Olympic medals during his career. Mel Lattany
Melvin Lattany (born August 10, 1959) is a former American track athlete. He was one of the world's dominating sprinters in the early 1980s. Early years Lattany attended Glynn Academy, where he was a standout sprinter in track. He also practiced football, where although he was primarily a wide receiver, he also played as a safety, cornerback, punt returner, kickoff returner and was the backup placekicker. He accepted a track scholarship from the University of Georgia, where he established a new Men's World Junior Record over 100 metres on July 30, 1978. Lattany qualified for the 1980 US Olympic team as a 100 metres sprinter and a member of the 4 × 400 metres relay team, but was unable to compete due to the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott.
