1980–81 Yugoslav First Basketball League
The 1980–81 Yugoslav First Basketball League season was the 37th season of the Yugoslav First Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in SFR Yugoslavia. The season ended with Partizan winning the league championship; despite finishing the season with an identical 19-3 record as Cibona, Partizan was better in their seasonal head-to-head, winning both of their contests during the season. Yugoslav First Basketball League
The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945 and folded in 1992 (1991-92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. With a total of 16 European-wide trophy winners and 11 finalists, the Yugoslav First Basketball League was one of the strongest European national domestic basketball leagues of all time. Although each of the former Yugoslav countries have their own national domestic leagues, the six nations also now take part in the ABA League (commonly known as the Adriatic League), which was founded in 2001; and which is, the closest basketball league in existence today, that is similar to the former Yugoslav Basketball League. Beogradski košarkaški klub Radnički ( sr-cyr, Београдски кошаркашки клуб Раднички), commonly referred to as Radnički Beograd, is a men's basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The 1981–82 FIBA European Champions Cup was the 25th season of the European top-tier level professional basketball club competition FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). Borislav Ćorković
Borislav "Reba" Ćorković ( sr-cyr, Борислав Ћорковић; 9 January 1933 – 26 January 2006) was a Serbian professional basketball player and coach. Playing career During the 1950s, Ćorković played basketball for Dinamo Pančevo of the Yugoslav League. Coaching career In 1958, Ćorković began with coaching career with Železničar Belgrade. From 1960 to 1965, he coached young teams, mostly women, in OKK Belgrade. In 1965, he became a head coach for Partizan women's team, also coached the junior men's team also. Danko Cvjetićanin (often credited as Cvjetičanin; born 16 October 1963) is a Croatian basketball scout and former player. Cvjetićanin won two silver medals at the Olympic Games, one with Yugoslavia (1988) and the other with Croatia (1992). Arsenije Pešić ( sr-cyr, Арсеније Пешић; born 10 June 1955) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. Playing career Pešić played most of this career for Partizan. He was a member of the trophy generation led by Dragan Kićanović and Dražen Dalipagić in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He won two Korać Cups and two Yugoslav championships with the Partizan.
