Slovenian Republic League
The Slovenian Republic Football League ( sl, Slovenska republiška nogometna liga) was the highest football league in Slovenia within the Yugoslav football system. During the time of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia it was known as the Ljubljana Subassociation League ( sl, Prvenstvo Ljubljanske nogometne podzveze) and was one of the qualifying tournaments for the Yugoslav Championship. During the time of Yugoslavia, it was a third level league for most of the time, but became a fourth level in 1988. Before that, the winner was promoted to the Yugoslav Second League, and after that it was promoted to the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League. NK Rudar Trbovlje
Nogometni klub Rudar Trbovlje ( en, Rudar Trbovlje Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Rudar Trbovlje or simply Rudar, is a Slovenian football club from Trbovlje, which plays in the Ljubljana Regional League, the fourth level of the Slovenian football system. The club have a long-standing local rivalry with NK Zagorje, which is known as the Zasavje Derby. History History of football in Trbovlje dates back to 1922, when ŠK Zora was established. In the same year, the club aroused a lot of interest in this sport among youth working class. In 1924, the club was banned after a political clash with Orjuna. The club was founded in June 1911 and is the oldest still active football club in the country. History SK Ilirija (1911–1941) At the beginning of the 20th century, football came to Ljubljana from Vienna and was played mostly by the students. Football club Ilirija was founded on 9 June 1911 in a pub called Roža on Židovska cesta in Ljubljana. Albin Kandare was elected as the first president of Ilirija, and their first ground was at Tivoli Park.
