The Liga Pro Ecuador Serie A, simply known as the Liga Pro or the Serie A (or the Ecuadorian Serie A to distinguish it from the Italian Serie A and the Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Série A), or as Liga Pro Ecuabet for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Ecuador and the highest level of the Ecuadorian football league system. Club Deportivo Everest is an Ecuadorian football team based in Guayaquil. They currently play in the third-level Ecuadorian Segunda Categoría, Segunda Categoría, but have spent ten seasons in the top-flight Ecuadorian Serie A, Serie A. Ambato (; full form, San Juan de Ambato; Quechuan languages, Quechua: Ampatu Llaqta) is a city located in the central Andes, Andean valley of Ecuador. Club Deportivo El Nacional (until 2018 ''Club Especializado de Alto Rendimiento El Nacional'') is an Ecuadorian sports club based in Quito, known best for their professional football team. El Nacional has thirteen national championships (one less than Emelec and three less than Barcelona).
