Sitges

Josef Fuchs (cyclist)
Josef Fuchs (born 24 July 1948) is a retired Swiss racing cyclist. As an amateur he won two world championship medals in 1969 and 1971, both on the road and on track. He also won a few minor races and two stages of the Tour de l'Avenir (1969 and 1971) and one of the Milk Race (1971). In late 1971 he turned professional and the same year won the Giro della Toscana. He placed eighth overall in the 1975 Tour de France and won the Liège–Bastogne–Liège race in 1981. During his career Fuchs won four national titles, two on track, as amateur in 1970 and 1971, and two on the road, as professional in 1972 and 1973. Jørgen Marcussen
Jørgen Marcussen (born 15 May 1950) is a former Danish racing cyclist. He competed, as an amateur, in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1972 Summer Olympics. As an amateur he also became national champion in team time trial in 1970, and in individual time trial in 1975. From 1976 he rode as a professional, predominantly on less prominent teams. In the 1978 UCI Road World Championships Jørgen Marcussen created an upset by winning a bronze medal, behind Gerrie Knetemann and Francesco Moser. He also managed to finish 4th overall in the 1981 Vuelta a España, which was the best result by a Dane in a Grand tour at the time. Pedro Torres
Pedro Torres Cruces (born 27 April 1949 in Humilladero) is a Spanish former road bicycle racer. He was a GC contender in Grand Tours. His first was the 1972 Vuelta. In the following year he placed 5th overall in the Vuelta and won the King of the Mountains competition, as well as a stage in the 1973 Tour de France. Late in the year at the World Championships he finished 6th. In 1975 he took a top 10 in the Volta a Catalunya and then in the Vuelta he came up just short of winning the King of the Mountains while finishing 14th overall. In the Tour he finished 10th while taking a 4th place at the World Championships. In 1976 he started with another top 10 in the Volta a Catalunya, finished 9th in the 1976 Vuelta a España and just inside the top 20 in the Tour. Amposta () is the capital of the ''comarca'' of Montsià, in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, 190 km south of Barcelona on the Mediterranean Coast. It is located at 8 metres above sea level, on the Ebre river, not far from its mouth. Its population was 20,606 in 2018. The Volta a Catalunya (; en, Tour of Catalonia, es, Vuelta a Cataluña, link=no) is a road bicycle race held annually in Catalonia, Spain. It is one of three World Tour stage races in Spain, together with the Vuelta a España and the Tour of the Basque Country.
