1976 Israel Super Cup
The 1976 Israel Super Cup was the 6th Israel Super Cup (11th, including unofficial matches, as the competition wasn't played within the Israel Football Association in its first 5 editions, until 1969), an annual Israel football match played between the winners of the previous season's Top Division and Israel State Cup. The match was played between Hapoel Be'er Sheva, champions of the 1975–76 Liga Leumit and Beitar Jerusalem, winners of the 1975–76 Israel State Cup. Hapoel Be'er Sheva F
Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties. Yossi Mizrahi
Yossi Mizrahi ( he, יוסי מזרחי, born 1953) is a retired Israeli goalkeeper and is a current manager. Early life Yosef (Yossi) Mizrahi was born in West Jerusalem on April 4, 1953. He grew up in Katamon and studied at Ma'aleh state religious school. As a teenager, he played on the youth team of Hapoel Jerusalem. Career In 1974–1987, Mizrahi was the goalkeeper for Beitar Jerusalem. Two years after he joined the team, it won the State Cup for the first time. Avraham Numa
Avraham Numa (born 1947) is a retired footballer who played as a forward for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1966–68 season, he was Israeli Footballer of the Year. He won two premier league championships with Hapoel in the 1970s. Numa played a total of 15 seasons in the Hapoel Be'er Sheva uniform and scored 64 goals in the top league.
