1975 Svenska Cupen Final
The 1975 Svenska Cupen final took place on 8 May 1975 at Malmö Stadion in Malmö. The match was contested by Allsvenskan sides Malmö FF and Djurgårdens IF. Djurgården played their first final since 1951 and their second in total, Malmö FF played their third consecutive final and their 11th final in total. Malmö FF won their 9th title with a 1–0 victory. Bo Larsson
Bo-Göran "Bosse" Larsson (born 5 May 1944) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and striker. Best remembered for his time with Malmö FF, he also represented VfB Stuttgart and Trelleborgs FF during his career. A full international between 1964 and 1978, he won 70 caps for the Sweden national team and scored 17 goals. He also represented Sweden at the 1970, 1974, and 1978 FIFA World Cups. Club career Most of his club career he played for Malmö FF where he won the league championship several times. Between 1966 and 1969 he was an appreciated professional for VfB Stuttgart scoring 21 times in 88 games. As the best player in the team and loved by the supporters he was also awarded "Athlete of the Year" in 1969 by the city of Stuttgart. Sven Lindman
Sven Henrik Lindman (born 19 April 1942) is a Swedish former footballer who played mainly for Djurgårdens IF. He played there between 1965 and 1980 and set a club record by making 312 appearances in Allsvenskan . During his time he scored 49 goals for the club. He was capped 21 times and scoring one goal for the Sweden national team. He was a member of Sweden's 1974 FIFA World Cup squad. Åke-Erik Roland Andersson (born 28 March 1950) is a former Swedish football player and coach. His most recent job was that as the assistant coach of the Nigeria national team under Lars Lagerbäck. As a player, he played for Malmö FF and Djurgårdens IF and was a part of the Swedish squad in the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina. As a coach, he has coached at Al-Shaab (United Arab Emirates), BSC Young Boys (Switzerland), Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia), Qatar SC (Qatar) and Malmö FF. His latest post was assistant coach for the Sweden national football team, appointed in 2004 by Lars Lagerbäck. Lennart Björn Alkeby (17 July 1952 – ) is a Swedish former footballer (goalkeeper). Playing career Alkeby made his Djurgården debut in the 1971 Allsvenskan in a match against Örgryte IS. Robert Douglas Houghton (born 30 October 1947) is an English football manager and former player. His career has spanned over 30 years and 10 countries. He is most famous for taking Swedish club Malmö FF to the 1979 European Cup Final, where they lost to Nottingham Forest. Career Early career During his brief playing career, Houghton was a midfielder for Fulham (1966–69) and Brighton & Hove Albion (1969–70). Houghton was one of the youngest coaches ever to manage in English senior football, being appointed player-manager of Hastings United in the Southern League at only 23. During that period, he was a star pupil of coaching guru Allen Wade, who was the technical director of the Football Association between 1963 and 83.
