1974–75 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The 1974–75 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the fifth staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship ran from 1 December 1974 to 16 March 1975. Blackrock of Cork were the defending champions, however, they failed to qualify after being beaten by St. Finbarr's in the 1974 Cork SHC final. The All-Ireland final was played on 16 March 1975 at Croke Park in Dublin, between St. Finbarr's of Cork and Fenians of Kilkenny, in what was their first ever championship meeting. St. Finbarr's won the match by 3-08 to 1-06 to claim their first ever All-Ireland title. Jimmy Barry-Murphy was the championship's top scorer with 8-13. Athleague Hurling Club is a hurling club located in Athleague, County Roscommon, Ireland. They were founded in 1901; soon after, they challenged a team from Athlone. Their grounds, Waldron Park, are often used by Roscommon hurling team. Their current manager is Padraig Mannion. A camogie team was founded in 1979. Camross GAA
Camross GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association Hurling and Gaelic football club in County Laois, Ireland, located near to Coolrain. History Founded in 1903, the club is the most successful hurling club in County Laois and the club colours are famously black and amber. In 1957 Camross amalgamated with Killanure their parish counterparts and with amalgamation came great success. In 1957 they won Junior Championship beating St Fintans, Colt, followed with Intermediate title in 1958. The Camross club did not win the Laois Senior Hurling Championship until 1959 but since then they have added a record 25 more senior hurling titles to their roll of honour (26 titles in total). Nowlan Park
UPMC Nowlan Park (; ) is the principal Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Kilkenny, Ireland. Named after James Nowlan (the longest serving President of the GAA), the stadium hosts major hurling matches and is home to the Kilkenny hurling team. It opened in 1927 replacing St. James Park. Rathnure St Anne's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rathnure, County Wexford, Ireland. Rathnure's most famous players are the Rackards and Quigley brothers. First AGM At a meeting in Rathnure in the year 1931, Rathnure St Anne's GAA Club was founded. Founder members on that night were Pat Byrne, James O'Leary, Pat Doyle, Thomas Murphy, Nick Mernagh, Denis Brennan and Master O'Rielly. Cusack Park (' in Irish language, Irish), known for sponsorship reasons as TEG Cusack Park, is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA stadium in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Aughrim County Ground, known for sponsorship reasons as Joule Park Aughrim, is a GAA stadium in Aughrim, County Wicklow, Ireland. Aughrim County Ground is the name of the home of Gaelic Games for County Wicklow (Gaelic football, Hurling, Camogie, Ladies Football) team. The ground has a capacity of about 7,000. Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship
The Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion senior clubs in the province of Leinster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious club competition in Leinster hurling. Introduced in 1971, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open to all 12 county senior champions from the 1970 championship season.
