Vitas Gerulaitis
Vytautas Kevin Gerulaitis (July 26, 1954 – September 17, 1994) was an American professional tennis player, known as Vitas Gerulaitis. In 1975, he won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon, partnering with Sandy Mayer. He won the men's singles title at one of the two Australian Open tournaments held in 1977. (Gerulaitis won the tournament that was held in December, while Roscoe Tanner won the earlier January tournament.) He won two Italian Open titles, in 1977 and 1979, and the WCT Finals in Dallas in 1978. Early life Gerulaitis was born on July 26, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, to Lithuanian immigrant parents, and grew up in Howard Beach, Queens. Wojciech Fibak (; popularly Wojtek Fibak ; born 30 August 1952) is a former professional tennis player and Polish entrepreneur and art collector. Fibak is best known for his doubles success with Dutch pro Tom Okker and Australian Kim Warwick, although he also reached the Top 10 in singles. Gerald Battrick (27 May 1947 – 26 November 1998) was a Welsh tennis player who reached as high as No. 3 in Britain (and world No. 53), winning at least 6 titles. Personal life Gerald Battrick was born on 27 May 1947 in Bridgend, Glamorgan, where his father was the Medical Officer. Tennis career Juniors Battrick won the junior titles of Great Britain, Belgium and France and represented Britain in the Davis Cup. In 1965 he won the French Open Boys' Singles. Haroon Rahim (born 12 November 1949) is a Pakistani former tennis player. The former Pakistan and Asian No. 1, Rahim was the youngest tennis player ever to play for Pakistan in the Davis Cup at 15 years of age. He was also the highest ranking Pakistani tennis player (a career-high singles ranking of World No. 34 in October 1977). He led the UCLA team to victory with Jeff Borowiak and Jimmy Connors in 1970–71 and was 1971 NCAA doubles champion with Jeff Borowiak. Rahim was from the Punjab city of Lahore, from a large family of avid tennis players. His father, Mir Abdur Rahim, was a civil servant who encouraged his children, sons and daughters, to play tennis. Biography Písecký, who was born in Prague, was a Czechoslovak Davis Cup squad member, without featuring in a tie. János Benyik
János Benyik (born 4 June 1951) is a Hungarian former professional tennis player. Biography Benyik, a right-handed player, was a two-time Hungarian national champion and competed on the professional tour in the 1970s. While playing on the Grand Prix circuit he had wins over Frank Froehling, Paolo Bertolucci and Eliot Teltscher. He twice reached the quarter-finals of the Austrian Open and as a doubles player was a finalist at Shreveport in 1975, partnering Róbert Machán. His only grand slam singles main draw appearance came at the 1976 French Open, where his first round opponent Antonio Muñoz won after being two sets down.
