The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. Jammu And Kashmir Cricket Team
The Jammu and Kashmir cricket team is a cricket team based in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, run by JKCA. It is in the Elite Group C of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar, and it also plays at Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground in Jammu. History Jammu and Kashmir first took part in the Ranji Trophy in 1959-60. Until recent seasons it had always been one of the weaker teams. Parthasarathy Sharma
Parthasarathy Harishchandra Sharma (5 January 1948 – 20 October 2010) was an Indian cricketer. Sharma was born in Alwar, Rajasthan and played in five Test matches and two One Day Internationals from 1974 to 1977. He played first-class cricket for Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy from 1962 to 1963 (when he made his debut a few days before his 15th birthday) to 1984–85. In the beginning of his career he kept wickets too, but later gave up keeping and became an off spinner. He was a master of playing spin bowling and people compared him to Vijay Manjrekar the way he handled the turning ball. In 1977–78 he captained Rest of India to an innings victory over Bombay in the Irani Cup, scoring 206, his highest score, and taking four wickets. The Vidarbha cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team plays in the India's domestic first-class cricket competition Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Madhya Pradesh cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It competes in the Ranji Trophy. History Holkar cricket team A Central India team competed in the Ranji Trophy between 1934–35 and 1939–40, playing 12 matches. In 1941, Holkar entered the competition, organised and managed by King Yashwantrao Holkar II belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas. The Uttar Pradesh cricket team, formerly United Provinces Cricket Team, is a domestic cricket team which is based in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, run by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association. Saurashtra cricket team is one of the three first-class cricket teams based in Gujarat (the others being Baroda and Gujarat) that compete in the first-class tournament Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Baroda cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the city of Baroda. The home ground of the team is the Moti Bagh Stadium on the palace grounds. The Gujarat cricket team is one of three first-class cricket teams representing the state of Gujarat (the other two being the Baroda cricket team and Saurashtra cricket team). Led by Parthiv Patel, Gujarat won their maiden Ranji Trophy title in the 2016–17 season, beating Mumbai in the final at Indore. The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association.
