Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the ''Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. Qualification for international competitions The champions of the Campeonato are immediately qualified to the Copa Libertadores for the next year, as well as the second and third place. Lota Schwager is a Chilean professional team based in Coronel that currently play in Tercera A (fourth-tier). Carlos Caszely
Carlos Humberto Caszely Garrido (born 5 July 1950 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean former footballer, nicknamed "Rey del metro cuadrado" ( en, King of the square meter, pt, O Rei do Metro Quadrado), who played as a forward. Regarded as one of Chile's most important players, between 1969 and 1985, Caszely won 48 caps and scored 29 goals for the Chile national team, including participations in the 1974 and 1982 World Cups. Rogelio Farías Salvador (13 August 1949 – 6 April 1995) was a Chilean football midfielder who played for Chile in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Unión Española. Juan Carlos Sarnari (22 January 1942 – 21 April 2023) was an Argentine footballer who played as a midfielder.
