1970 Copa Argentina Final
The 1970 Copa Argentina Finals were the final two-legged tie that decided the champion of the 1970 Copa Argentina. The finals were contested in two-legged home-and-away format between San Lorenzo and Vélez Sársfield. The first leg was played in Atlanta Stadium of Villa Crespo, finishing in a 2-2 tie. The second leg was never played so the tournament was unfinished and neither San Lorenzo nor Velez Sarsfield were declared champion. Racing Club De Avellaneda
Racing Club de Avellaneda, officially known as Racing Club or shortened to just Racing, is an Argentine professional sports club based in Avellaneda, a city of the Buenos Aires Province. Copa Argentina
The Copa Argentina (English: ''Argentine Cup''), officially known as the "Copa Argentina AXION energy" due to sponsorship reasons, is an official football cup competition organized by the Argentine Football Association (AFA), with the aim of qualifying one club to the Copa Libertadores. The first editions of the championship were contested by teams playing in Primera División that did not earn eligibility to participate in the Copa Libertadores of the following year, and the best placed clubs playing in regional leagues. The tournament was re-launched in 2011, with teams of all divisions that form the Argentine football league system taking part of the championship. Rogelio Domínguez
Rogelio Antonio Domínguez López (9 March 1931 – 23 July 2004) was an Argentine football goalkeeper who played for Real Madrid and was part of their European Cup victories in 1959 and 1960. He was in Argentina's squad for the 1962 FIFA World Cup. Biography Domínguez was discovered during a match by the cofounder of the famous Club River Plate, Carlos Peucelle, who persuaded Dominguez to begin to train at River Plate in March 1946. He was seventeen years old when he was discovered by delegates of the Racing Club of Avellaneda and he was signed immediately. In 1957 Domínguez signed for Real Madrid in Spain. Rodolfo José Fischer Eichler, nicknamed ''Lobo'' (2 April 1944 – 16 October 2020) was an Argentina, Argentine international association football player of German-Brazilian descent. His tenacity awarded the tall attacker with the nickname ''El Lobo'', the "Wolf". Carlos José Veglio (born 27 August 1946, in Buenos Aires) is a former Argentine football striker. He won a number of major titles with San Lorenzo and Boca Juniors and represented the Argentina national football team. Roberto "Oveja" Telch (6 November 1943 – 12 October 2014) was an Argentine footballer. He was born in San Vicente, Córdoba, and won four league championships with San Lorenzo in Argentina and represented the Argentina national football team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Sergio Bismarck Villar (born 5 January 1944) is a Uruguayan former footballer who played as a left back. He played most of his career for San Lorenzo de Almagro in Argentina. Villar started his career in Uruguay where he played for Club Sportivo Cerrito, C.A. Canillitas and Defensor S.C.
