The 1969 2. divisjon was a Norwegian second-tier football league season. The league was contested by 16 teams, divided into two groups; A and B. The winners of group A and B were promoted to the 1970 1. divisjon. The two bottom teams in both groups were relegated to the 3. divisjon. Overview Summary Pors won group A with 22 points. IF Pors
Pors Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Porsgrunn, currently playing in the 3. divisjon. Pors plays in blue jerseys, and their home ground is Pors Stadion. Notable former players include Jan Halvor Halvorsen and Erik Pedersen. History The club was founded on 25 May 1905 under the name ''Lyn'', and changed its name to ''IF Pors'' in 1914 because the original name was already in use. The best performances of the team was in 1948–49 and 1970 when they played in the top division. The team has had unsuccessful bids for promotion to the top division in 1972, 1979, 1981 and 1983. SK Haugar
Sportsklubben Haugar is an association football club from Haugesund, Norway, established in 1939. Its top women's team plays in the Second Division and the top men's team plays in the Fifth Division. The men's team has played two Norwegian Football Cup Finals, losing 0–7 against Fredrikstad in 1961 and 2–1 against Viking in 1979. This qualified the team for the 1980–81 European Cup Winners' Cup: in the first round, Haugar drew Sion 1–1 away and then beat them 2–0 at home. In the second round, Haugar tied Newport County 0–0 at home, but lost 0–6 away. The team played their last season in the top division in 1981. In 1993, it merged its elite teams with Djerv 1919 to create FK Haugesund. Haugar continued to compete in lower divisions. Frigg Oslo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Majorstua in Oslo. It has sections for association football and bandy. History It was founded on 17 May 1904 as ''SK Frigg'', named after Frigg of Norse mythology. It was merged on 21 April 1954 with ''SK Varg''. It took the name ''Frigg Oslo FK'' in 1990. The club colors are white and blue, and the team plays at Marienlyst stadion. It has a training field at Tørteberg not far from Marienlyst. As the name indicates it is mainly a football club. Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. Aalesunds Fotballklubb, commonly known as Aalesund or AaFK, is a Norwegian football club from the town of Ålesund, that competes in the Eliteserien, the first tier of the Norwegian football league system. Norwegian Second Division
The Norwegian Second Division, also called 2. divisjon and often referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons, is the third-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. There are 28 teams divided into two groups, and at the end of the season the winner of each group earns promotion to the second-highest division, 1. divisjon. The teams finishing in second place in their respective group will qualify for the promotion play-offs, where they will face each other. The winner will play against the 14th placed team in 1. divisjon for promotion. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to 3. divisjon. 2. divisjon is the highest league a reserve team can participate in, and only reserve teams from the Eliteserien clubs (first tier) are allowed to enter.
