''The Victor'' was a British comic paper published weekly by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd. ''The Victor'' ran for 1,657 issues from 25 January 1961 until it ceased publication on 21 November 1992.Sabin, Roger, ''Comics, Comix & Graphic Novels''. London : Phaidon Press, 2014. (pgs. 49, 131) Associated with it was the annually published ''The Victor Book for Boys''. This annual was first published in 1964, with the last edition published in 1994. A hardback book, ''The Best of The Victor'', was published in 2010 ready to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this popular adventure comic. ''Tales of Suspense'' is the name of an American comic book anthology series and two one-shot comics published by Marvel Comics. The first, which ran from 1959 to 1968, began as a science-fiction anthology that served as a showcase for such artists as Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and Don Heck, then featured superheroes Captain America and Iron Man during the Silver Age of Comic Books before changing its title to ''Captain America'' with issue #100 (cover-dated April 1968). Its sister title was ''Tales to Astonish''. Following the launch of Marvel Legacy in 2017, ''Tales of Suspense'' was once again resurrected at issue #100, featuring the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye in a story called "The Red Ledger". ''Strange Tales'' is a Marvel Comics comics anthology, anthology series. The title was revived in different forms on multiple occasions. Doctor Strange and Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Antonio Prohías
Antonio Prohías (January 17, 1921 – February 24, 1998) was a Cuban-American cartoonist. He was the creator of the satire, satirical comic strip ''Spy vs. Spy'', which he illustrated for ''Mad (magazine), Mad'' magazine from 1961 to 1987. Biography In 1946, Prohías was given the Juan Gualberto Gómez award, recognizing him as the foremost cartoonist in Cuba. By the late 1940s, Prohías had begun working at ''El Mundo'', the most important newspaper in Cuba at the time. In January 1959, Prohías was the president of the Cuban Cartoonists Association; after Fidel Castro seized power, he personally honored the cartoonist for his anti-Fulgencio Batista, Batista political cartoons. But Prohías soon soured on Castro's actions of muzzling the press. When he drew cartoons to this effect, he was accused of working for the CIA by Fidel Castro's government. ''Kid Colt, Outlaw'' is a comic book title featuring the character Kid Colt originally published by Atlas Comics beginning in 1948 and later Marvel Comics. Journey Into Mystery
''Journey into Mystery'' is an American comic book series initially published by Atlas Comics (1950s), Atlas Comics, then by its successor, Marvel Comics. Initially a horror comics anthology, it changed to giant-monster and science fiction stories in the late 1950s. Beginning with issue #83 (cover dated Aug. 1962), it ran the superhero feature "Thor (Marvel Comics), The Mighty Thor", created by writers Stan Lee and Larry Lieber and artist Jack Kirby, and inspired by the mythological Norse mythology, Norse Thor, thunder god. The series, which was renamed for its superhero star with issue #126 (March 1966), has been revived three times: in the 1970s as a horror anthology, and in the 1990s and 2010s with characters from Marvel's Thor mythos.
