1960–61 Divizia B
The 1960–61 Divizia B was the 21st season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them having 14 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Divizia A and the last two places from each series relegated to Regional Championship. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III. ACS Sticla Arieșul Turda, commonly known as Sticla Arieșul Turda, or simply as Arieșul Turda, is a Romanian football club from Turda, Cluj County, which was established in 1907. CS Târgu Mureș
CS Târgu Mureș was a football club based in Târgu Mureș, Mureș County in central Romania. It was founded in 1944 and it soon became one of the best teams from Mureș. The club was dissolved in 1960. History In 1944, the team of the railway workers, brought together the best players from Târgu Mureș, that previously played for MSE, MNKTE and MAV. The team participated in the local championship under the name of ASM Târgu Mureş. In 1945 ''ASM'' became Dermagant and under this name the team promoted to Divizia A, in 1947, after a play-off match against Karres Mediaș. In 1947 the club changed its name to RATA, after the name of the factory, its main sponsor. In 1950 RATA became Locomotiva, and in 1955 it relegated to Divizia B. CFR Arad
CFR Arad was a football club based in Arad, Romania, founded in 1921. History The club was born in 1921, and just after one year they merged with CS Gloria Arad, a team founded in 1913. Under the name Gloria CFR Arad they have the best performances inclusive a second place in Divizia A 1929–30. But in 1934, after just 12 years the club fell apart in CS Gloria Arad and CFR Arad. The separation was not propitious for CFR Arad who start playing again in lower divisions, while CS Gloria Arad lived her glory years in Romanian First League. They changed several names in the next years, till 1973 when they decide to merge again, this time with Vagonul Arad, under the name of ''Unirea Arad'' between 1973–1974 and ''Rapid Arad'' between 1974 and 1978. Clubul Sportiv Viitorul Minerul Lupeni, commonly known as Minerul Lupeni, is a Romanian football club based in Lupeni, Hunedoara County which competes in Liga IV – Hunedoara County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Mureșul Târgu Mureș
CS Mureșul Târgu Mureș was a Romanian football club based in Târgu Mureș. They reached twice the semifinals of Romania's top football league, Divizia A. They are the predecessors of CS Târgu Mureş. History Mureşul Târgu Mureş (named after the Mureș River, located in Târgu Mureș) was created in 1921 under the name SS Mureşul Târgu Mureş. In 1923, they joined to the CFR Târgu Mureş, Sports Club of railway workers, under the name CFR Mureşul Târgu Mureş. Same year, the club won the district championship Târgu Mureş and qualified for the final round of the Romanian championship. After victories against the Șoimii Sibiu and Venus București they reached the semifinals, but was defeated by Chinezul Timișoara with 0–9.
