Ernesto Castano
Ernesto Castano (; born 2 May 1939) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Throughout his club career he played for Legnano, Triestina, and Juventus, winning domestic titles at the latter club. At international level, he was a member of the Italy national team that won UEFA Euro 1968. Club career Castano was born in Cinisello Balsamo in the Province of Milan. Bruno Nicolè
Bruno Nicolè (; 24 February 1940 – 26 November 2019) was an Italian professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Throughout his club career, Nicolè played for several Italian clubs, and started his career with Padova at the age of 16, making his Serie A debut on 10 February 1957, in a 3–2 home win over Inter; his performances earned him a move to Juventus in 1957, where he won three Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia titles, also managing a goalscoring ratio of at least one goal every three games with the club, and even playing alongside the club's established attacking trio, which was made up of stars John Charles, Omar Sívori and Giampiero Boniperti. John Charles
William John Charles (27 December 1931 – 21 February 2004) was a Welsh footballer who played as a centre-forward or as a centre-back. Best known for his first stint at Leeds United and Juventus, he was rated by many as the greatest all-round footballer ever to come from Britain. Charles began his career at Leeds United, having moved there in 1949 from his hometown club, Swansea Town. He was equally adept as a defender or a forward, due to his strength, pace, technique, vision, ability in the air and eye for goal. After returning from his National Service in 1952, Charles began to be used more often as a forward, and he was the Second Division's top scorer in 1954. The following year, he was named club captain; in his first season as captain, he led the club to second place and promotion. Giampiero Boniperti
Giampiero Boniperti (; 4 July 1928 – 18 June 2021) was an Italian footballer who played his entire 15-season career at Juventus between 1946 and 1961, winning five Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia titles. He also played for the Italy national team at international level, and took part at the 1950 and 1954 FIFA World Cup finals, as well as the 1952 Summer Olympics with Italy. After retirement from professional football, Boniperti was a CEO and chairman of Juventus and, later, a deputy to the European Parliament.
