1959 South Carolina Gamecocks Football Team
The 1959 South Carolina Gamecocks football team represented the University of South Carolina as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 1959 NCAA University Division football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Warren Giese, the Gamecocks compiled an overall record of 6–4 with a mark of 4–3 in conference play, tying for fourth place in the ACC. Atlantic Coast Conference
The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic conference located in the eastern United States. Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, the ACC's fifteen member universities compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I.
