Cessna Stadium
Cessna Stadium is a 24,000-seat stadium on the campus of Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, United States. It opened in 1946 and served as the home of the Wichita State Shockers track and field team until 2020 and the football team until the program was discontinued in 1986. The Kansas Board of Regents approved demolition of the stadium in April 2020. In September of 2022, The Kansas Board of Regents approved the plan for a new, roughly $51 million stadium to replace the current facility. The 1959 Miami Redskins football team was an American football team that represented Miami University in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 1959 NCAA College Division football season. In its fourth season under head coach John Pont, Miami compiled a 5–4 record (3–2 against MAC opponents), finished in third place in the MAC, held five of nine opponents to seven or fewer points, and outscored all opponents by a combined total of 158 to 94.
