The 1958 Utah Redskins football team was an American football team that represented the University of Utah as a member of the Skyline Conference during the 1958 NCAA University Division football season. In their first season under head coach Ray Nagel, the Redskins compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 3–3 against conference opponents, placing fifth in the Skyline. Home games were played on campus at Ute Stadium in Salt Lake City. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is the major West Coast base of the United States Marine Corps and is one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the United States. The Dick Tomey Legacy Game is the name given to the Hawaiʻi–San José State football rivalry. It is a college football rivalry between the Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors football team of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and the San José State Spartans football team of San José State University. Honolulu Stadium
Honolulu Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in the Moiliili district of Honolulu, Hawai'i, at the corner of King and Isenberg Streets. Opened in 1926, it was the primary sports venue in Hawaii preceding Aloha Stadium. During its final years, the stadium could hold about 25,000 fans; it was demolished in 1976. A public park, Old Stadium Park, now occupies the location. A plaque at the corner of King and Isenberg commemorates the stadium.
