The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. Travancore-Cochin Cricket Team
The Travancore-Cochin cricket team represented the Indian state of Travancore-Cochin in the Ranji Trophy from 1951–52 to 1956–57. After the state was reorganised and expanded to form the new state of Kerala in 1956, the Travancore-Cochin team was superseded by the Kerala cricket team, beginning with the 1957–58 Ranji Trophy. Yatin Kashinath ReleSome sources give his first name as ''Yatindra''. (born 26 September 1933) is an Indian former first-class cricketer and banker. Rele was an opening batsman. He played for Bombay University when they won the Rohinton Baria Trophy in 1954–55 and in 1955–56, when he captained the team. He represented Bombay in nine matches in the Ranji Trophy between 1955 and 1957, including the finals in 1955–56 and 1956–57, both of which Bombay won. In the 1956–57 final, after Services made 171 in their first innings, Rele batted throughout the Bombay innings, scoring 162 not out in a total of 359 for 7 declared off 142 overs; Bombay then dismissed Services for 150 to win by an innings. Lt. Col. Chandrasekhar Vaman Gadkari (3 February 1928 – 11 January 1998) was an Indian Test cricketer. Gadkari was an attacking batsman, medium pace bowler and a great fielder. He made a fine impression as a fielder in the 1952/53 tour to West Indies in an Indian side that was noted for its fielding. He made 50* in the Georgetown Test which remained his highest score. Orissa Cricket Team
The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. The Madhya Pradesh cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It competes in the Ranji Trophy. History Holkar cricket team A Central India team competed in the Ranji Trophy between 1934–35 and 1939–40, playing 12 matches. In 1941, Holkar entered the competition, organised and managed by King Yashwantrao Holkar II belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas.
