Aniceto Utset
Aniceto Utset (17 January 1932 – 11 November 1998) was a Spanish professional cyclist, who was professional between from 1954 to 1961. He retired from cycling at the end of the 1961 season. He was third in the Spanish climbing championship in 1957 and made his debut in the Vuelta a España in 1958. Biography Aniceto Utset was born in Terrassa, Catalonia on January 1, 1932, and died in Terrassa, Catalonia at the age of 66. He finished 1st in the general classification of the 1956 Volta a Catalunya road race, and he also finished 3rd general classification of the 1958 Volta a Catalunya road race. He won the Trofeo Jaumendreu trophy in 1954. Career Aniceto Utset turned professional with the Mobylette team. His cycling career spanned 8 seasons. Vicente Iturat Gil (22 August 1928 in Alcalà de Xivert – 18 August 2017 in Vilanova i la Geltrú) was a Spanish professional road cyclist. A sprinter, Iturat won the Points classification in the 1957 Vuelta a España, as well as four stages of the Vuelta a España throughout his career. The Volta a Catalunya (; en, Tour of Catalonia, es, Vuelta a Cataluña, link=no) is a road bicycle race held annually in Catalonia, Spain. It is one of three World Tour stage races in Spain, together with the Vuelta a España and the Tour of the Basque Country. The race has had several different calendar dates, running before in September, June and May. Since 2010 it has been on the calendar in late March as part of the UCI World Tour. Miguel Poblet Orriols (18 March 1928 – 6 April 2013) was a Spanish professional cyclist, who had over 200 professional victories from 1944 to 1962. He was the first Spanish rider to wear the yellow jersey in the Tour de France, and in 1956 he became the first of only three riders to win stages in the three Grand Tours in the same year. (The other two are Pierino Baffi and Alessandro Petacchi.) He won the Milan–San Remo classic race on two occasions and took 26 stage wins in the three Grand Tours. Joan Crespo Hita (7 March 1927 – 9 April 2014) was a Spanish professional road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional between 1951 and 1959. Biography Joan Crespo was born in Barcelona, Catalonia on March 7, 1927 and died in Barcelona at the age of 87. Crespo turned professional in 1951 with the Spanish team P.C. Nicky's.
