1956 Kategoria E Dytë
The 1956 Kategoria e Dytë was the 11th season of a second-tier association football league in Albania. The season had started in March and ended in August. Even the Second Division begins to take on a fixed formula, moving in 1956 to the seven single-group teams. Spartaku Tiranë wins league and promotion title by outperforming opponents, while Spartaku Pogradec was the first team to officially relegated to the regional divisions, from which Puna Peshkopi was advanced. This season was followed by the 1957 season. Kategoria e Parë is the second level of professional football in Albania, behind the Kategoria Superiore and above the Kategoria e Dytë. Format Kategoria e Parë was founded in 1930. It is made up of 14 teams. The 2 best ranked teams gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th position qualify to a play-off tournament where the winner then plays a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of Kategoria Superiore. KF Lushnja
KF Lushnja is an Albanian football (soccer), football club based in the city of Lushnjë in the County of Fier. Their home ground is the Abdurrahman Roza Haxhiu Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History Early history The club was originally formed in 1927 and the first football game held in the city of Lushnjë was played shortly after. This was a friendly game against Tomori Berat and the team consisted of young men from Lushnjë. The club was named Kongresi i Lushnjës following a proposal from a member of parliament and signatory of the Albanian Declaration of Independence Ferit Vokopola to name the club after the Congress of Lushnjë, which was where Vokopola himself was elected secretary. Kategoria e Dytë is the third professional level of football in Albania. It was called the ''Second Division'' until 2003. Kategoria e Dytë has two groups, A and B. which are divided geographically. It is made up of 23 teams. The winners of each group earn the right to be promoted to the Kategoria e Parë and they also play a single final for seasonal champions. Teams which finish in the last 2 positions on each group are relegated to the Kategoria e Tretë Kategoria e Tretë is the fourth and lowest professional level of football in Albania. KF Naftëtari, also known as Naftëtari Kuçovë, is an Albanian football club based in Kuçovë, Albania. KF Apolonia is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia. KF Spartak Tirana ( al, KF Spartaku Tiranë) is an Albanian football club based the capital city Tirana. They currently compete in the Kategoria e Tretë. History The club was founded in 1950 as the team of the trade unions. Spartak Tirana managed to play in the years 1954, 1955 and 1957 in the Kategoria Superiore. KS Korabi is an Albanian football club based in Peshkopi, named after the nearby Mount Korab, which is the tallest mountain in Albania and North Macedonia. The club's home ground is the Korabi Stadium.
