1956 Cupa României
The 1956 Cupa României was the 19th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Progresul Oradea against Energia Câmpia Turzii. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. In the first round proper, two pots were made, first pot with Divizia A teams and other teams till 16 and the second pot with the rest of teams qualified in this phase. First pot teams will play Away. Each tie is played as a single leg. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, and if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, the team who plays away will qualify. In case the teams are from same city, there a replay will be played. In case the teams play in the final, there a replay will be played. From the first edition, the teams from Divizia A entered in competition in sixteen finals, rule which remained till today. Club Atletic Oradea (Nagyváradi Atlétikai Club) (), commonly known as CA Oradea (Nagyváradi AC), or simply as CAO (NAC), is a Romanian Association football, football club based in Oradea, Bihor County, which competes in the Liga IV. The team was founded as ''Nagyváradi Atlétikai Club'' in 1910, when the city was part of Austria-Hungary. Victoria București
Victoria București was a Romanian football club, dissolved right after the Romanian Revolution of 1989. History The club was sponsored by the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs (the "Miliția", Police). In 1985 Victoria played for the first time in the Romanian top division, becoming very fast one of the most important teams, behind Steaua and Dinamo București. Between 1986 and 1989 they finished every year in 3rd place. However, it was a well-known fact during that time that many victories were due to unfair influences over the referees, other teams' players and even officials. This is why in 1990, right after the Revolution, the team was dissolved by the Romanian Football Federation and the club literally disappeared. Club Sportiv Municipal Flacăra Moreni, (), commonly known as Flacăra Moreni or simply as Flacăra, is a Romanian football club based in Moreni, Dâmbovița County. The team was founded by English and Dutch engineers from the local oil rig as ''Astra-Română Moreni'' in 1922. During the communist period, Flacăra was taken over by the Securitate with the involvement of director Tudor Postelnicu, who had previously worked as an iron lathe operator in the city.
