Mauricio Ugartemendia Lauzirika (26 July 1934 – 18 February 2022), commonly known as Mauri, was a Spanish association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Gernika, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Mauri spent 11 seasons in La Liga with Athletic Bilbao. He made his debut in the competition on 20 September 1953, in a 2–3 home loss against Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid. Manuel Díaz Gil (29 March 1929 – 28 March 1966), commonly known as Liz, was a Spanish Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Club career Born in Seville, Andalusia, Liz played six seasons in La Liga, five with Sevilla FC and 1956–57 La Liga, one with Deportivo de La Coruña. He made his debut in the competition with the latter on 21 September 1952 in a 2–6 away loss against RCD Espanyol, RCD Español, and scored his first goal on 23 November of the same year, but in a 1–2 home defeat to Racing de Santander; on 22 February 1953, against precisely Deportivo, he netted a hat-trick in a 6–2 home rout, going on to add a further two during 1952–53 La Liga, the campaign to help his team rank in fifth position. Ferdinand Daučík
Ferdinand Daučík (also known as Fernando Daucik; 30 May 1910 – 14 November 1986) was a Slovak football player and manager. Daučík was the manager of several La Liga clubs, most notably Barcelona, Atlético Bilbao, Atlético Madrid and Real Zaragoza. During his career, he managed La Liga clubs in 488 matches, won three La Liga titles and won the Copa del Generalísimo on five occasions and won three La Liga/Copa doubles. He died in Alcalá de Henares. Playing career Daučík played as a defender for 1. ČsŠK Bratislava, Slavia Prague and the Czechoslovakia national team. Agustín Gaínza Vicandi (28 May 1922 – 6 January 1995) was a Spanish football forward and manager. Club career Nicknamed ''Piru'', Gaínza's entire career was spent with Athletic Bilbao. Born in Basauri, Biscay, he made his official debut and scored in a Biscay Championship match on 15 January 1939 against SD Erandio Club, aged 16 years, seven months and 18 days.
