The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. The Andhra cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the South India state of Andhra Pradesh. The team's main home ground is Dr. Y. S. Madhavsinh Madhavrao Jagdale (born 25 April 1914 in Baroda, Gujarat - died 13 January 1990 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh) was an Indian cricketer and a former member of the Selection Committee. Rusi Modi
Rustomji Sheriyar Modi (11 November 1924 β 17 May 1996) was an Indian cricketer who played for the India national cricket team from 1946 to 1952. Modi belonged to Parsi community. His test career started at Lord's in India's first test in England in their tour of England in 1946. He made his debut in a three-day match (22β25 June 1946), which is best recognised for Sir Alec Bedser's eleven-wicket haul on debut. Incidentally, this test also marked the test debuts of Vijay Hazare and Vinoo Mankad, who would go on to be recognised players for India. Balkrishna Pandharinath "Baloo" Gupte (30 August 1934 β 5 July 2005) was an Indian cricketer. He was a leg-spinner. Gupte was born in Bombay in British India. He made his debut under Nari Contractor in 1960β61 against Pakistan led by Fazal Mahmood at the Corporation Stadium in Madras (now Chennai). He played three Tests for India between 1960β61 and 1964β65. His first class career spanned 1953β53 to 1967-68 playing for Bombay, Bengal and Railways. The Delhi cricket team is a first-class cricket team based in Delhi, run by the Delhi District Cricket Association, that plays in India's first class competition, the Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Patiala cricket team was a first-class cricket team representing Patiala (Patiala State before 1947) in Indian domestic competitions. The team competed in the Ranji Trophy in the 1948β49, 1955β56, 1957β58 and 1958β59 seasons. They played their home matches at the Baradari Ground (now known as the Dhruve Pandove Stadium) in Patiala. The Eastern Punjab cricket team was an Indian domestic cricket team representing the eastern part of the Indian state of Punjab. It played 22 first-class matches, all in the Ranji Trophy, between 1950 and 1960, winning 2, losing 13 and drawing 7. It played its home matches in Amritsar and Jalandhar. The Services cricket team plays in the Ranji Trophy, the main domestic first-class cricket competition in India. Under the auspices of the Services Sports Control Board, they represent the Indian Armed Forces. Their home ground is the Palam A Ground, Model Sports Complex, Delhi. The Bihar cricket team represents the state of Bihar in Indian domestic cricket competitions. It is run by Bihar Cricket Association.
