The League Algiers Football Association, also called League Algiers Football or League of Algiers was an organization of soccer in Algeria to the French colonial era. North African Championship
The North African Championship was a football competition involving the territories of French Algeria, French protectorate of Morocco and French protectorate of Tunisia. It was played between the champions of the Tunisian, the Moroccan football league and the 3 Algerian regional leagues. Morocco did not enter their champions until the 1928/29 season. In 1956 the cup was cancelled because Morocco and Tunisia both became independent of France in that year and left the cup. Union Sportive Madinat Blida ( ar, الإتحاد الرياضي لمدينة البليدة), known as USM Blida or simply USMB, is a football club based in Blida, Algeria. They currently play in the Inter-Régions Division, the third tier of Algerian football. Founded in 1932, they have played their home games at Brakni Brothers Stadium since 1936.
