Jörg Hinrich Hacker (born 13 February 1952) is a German microbiologist. He served as president of the Robert Koch Institute from 2008 to 2010 and of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina from 2010 to 2020. He is the editor-in-chief of the ''International Journal of Medical Microbiology''. Early life and education Born in Grevesmühlen, Mecklenburg, Hacker studied biology from 1970 to 1974 at the Martin Luther University in Halle and obtained his PhD in 1979. Career From 1980 to 1988 Hacker worked as a junior researcher at the University of Würzburg, where he obtained his habilitation in microbiology in 1986. From 1988 until 1993, Hacker was professor of microbiology at the University of Würzburg. In 1993 he moved to the chair for Molecular Infection Biology, which he held until 2008. Norbert Stolzenburg
Norbert Stolzenburg (born 12 May 1952) is a German football manager and former player. Stolzenburg was born in Berlin, and scored a record 122 goals in 210 games for Tennis Borussia Berlin, also becoming the top scorer of the 1975–76 2. Bundesliga Nord season. Furthermore, Stolzenburg scored three goals in four games for Eintracht Braunschweig during the 1976–77 UEFA Cup. After his spell in Braunschweig he played for MSV Duisburg in the Bundesliga. Roland Kaiser (born Ronald Keiler; 10 May 1952) is a German Schlager singer. He is one of the most successful German-speaking Schlager singers. Keiler was born in West Berlin. He was working as a marketing executive in a car firm where he was discovered by German music producer Gerd Kämpfe. In 1974, he released his first single under the stage name of Roland Kaiser, titled "Was ist wohl aus ihr geworden?", and in 1976 he got his first chart placement with "Frei, das heißt allein", which reached number 14 on the West German top list. In 1980, he competed in the West German trial for the Eurovision Song Contest but did not win. Barbara Anne Hendricks (born 29 April 1952) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who served as Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety in the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel from 2013 until 2018. Rosemarie "Rosi" Ackermann (; born 4 April 1952) is a German former high jumper. On 26 August 1977 in Berlin, she became the first female high jumper to clear a height of 2 metres. Biography She was born in Lohsa, Saxony. As Rosemarie Witschas, she represented East Germany in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, finishing seventh behind Ulrike Meyfarth. In 1974, at the European Championships in Rome, she won her first international title, setting a new world record of 1.95m. Later that year, she married handball player Manfred Ackermann, and assumed his surname. Two years later, when she won the gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada. Wolfgang Kubicki (born 3 March 1952) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP) and member of the Bundestag from 1990 until 1992 and 2017 onwards.
