1952 Albanian Cup
1952 Albanian Cup () was the sixth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began in February 1952 with the First Eliminatory Round and ended in May 1952 with the Final match. Dinamo Tirana were the defending champions, having won their second Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Dinamo Tirana. The rounds were played in a one-legged format. Group A played three eliminatory rounds and Groups B, C and D played directly in quarter finals. If the number of goals was equal, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary. First eliminatory round Games were played on February, 1952. Futboll Club Dinamo Tirana is an Albanian professional football club based in the country's capital Tirana. They play in the Kategoria e Parë, the second tier of Albanian football, in the 2022–23 season. Founded in 1950 during the communist regime, the club was historically affiliated to the Interior Ministry and having won 18 National Championships, it is considered to be the second most decorated club after local rivals KF Tirana. KF Luftëtari (), also known as Luftëtari FC or simply Luftëtari was an Albanian football club based in Gjirokastër, southern Albania. The club was founded on 1926 as Shqiponja Gjirokastër and has played at its home ground, the Gjirokastra Stadium, since 1973. Xhevdet Shaqiri (5 January 1923 – 11 September 1997) was an Albanian football player and coach. Playing career Club He played for Vllaznia Shkodër, Partizani Tirana and Dinamo Tirana during his playing career and won 9 league titles with them. He became the league's top goalscorer in 1946 with 11 goals. International He made his debut for Albania in a September 1947 Balkan Cup match against Yugoslavia and earned a total of 14 caps, scoring no goals. Zihni Gjinali
Zihni Gjinali (5 May 1926 – 19 July 2005) was an Albanian footballer who played his professional career for Besa, Dinamo Tirana and Partizani Tirana football clubs. He was the captain and head coach of the Dinamo Dynasty of the 1950s. Gjinali was also a successful player with the Albania National Football Team. Skënder Jareci
Skënder Jareci (5 May 1931 – 9 March 1984) was an Albanian former football manager and player. Jareci represented Teuta Durrës and Dinamo Tirana during his playing career and also won 8 caps for the Albania national team. He is the tenth all-time top goalscorer in the history of Albanian Superliga with 122 goals. Playing career Club In 1950, Jareci joined the newly established Dinamo Tirana club, whom he won 7 championships and 6 cups, establishing himself as one of the best Albanian strikers of his generation. Futboll Klub Partizani, or FK Partizani for short, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's current temporary home ground is Arena Kombëtare and the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex. KF Apolonia is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia.
