The First Professional Football League ( bg, Първа професионална футболна лига, Parva Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as the Bulgarian First League or Parva Liga, currently known as the efbet League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league, located at the top of the Bulgarian football league system. Contested by 16 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Second Professional Football League. Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. Stefan Bozhkov
Stefan Bozhilov Stefanov ( bg, Стефан Божилов Стефанов; 20 September 1923 – 1 February 2014) was a Bulgarian football player and coach. He usually played the position of midfielder. Career Born in Sofia, Bozhkov first started to play for a local team Sportist Hadzhi Dimitar. He made his debut on 20 September 1938, on his 15th birthday, in a game against Fortuna. During his club career he played for PFC CSKA Sofia. Bozhkov won the top Bulgarian league, the A PFG, a ten times (all with CSKA), as well as the Bulgarian Cup, three times (all with CSKA). He earned 53 caps and scored 4 goals for the Bulgaria national football team from 1946 to 1958, and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. He later coached the national team in the 1970 FIFA World Cup and won a silver medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Manol Manolov ( bg, Манол Манолов) (4 August 1925 – 16 December 2008) was a Bulgarian football defender and manager. He was born in Sofia. Manolov featured in 57 games for the Bulgaria national football team and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Between 1948 and 1962 he played in 239 matches and scored 8 goals for CSKA Sofia. He was honoured as Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1958. Georgi Rusev (footballer, Born 1924)
Georgi Iliev Rusev ( bg, Георги Илиев Русев; 7 May 1928 – 1 April 2011) was a Bulgarian actor. He created a gallery of colorful characters for a four-decade career, and became famous as a master of the so-called "second plan roles". Biography and Career Georgi Rusev was born on 7 May 1928 in the village of Kostenets, Sofia Province. In 1952 he graduated as an actor in Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. His professional debut is on the stage of the Plovdiv Theater as Aesop in the staging by Leon Daniel after the novel of the same name. In the following years he played on the stage of the Mladezhki Theater, Sofia and from 1966 until 1990, Rusev is a member of a theatrical company with the Pernik Theater being its leader from 1977.
