Khadr El-Touni
Khedr Sayed El Touny ( ar, خضر التوني; December 15, 1916 – September 22, 1956) was an Egyptian weightlifter. He was ranked number one on the list of history's 50 greatest weightlifters issued by the International Weightlifting Federation, until Turkey's Naim Süleymanoğlu surpassed the Egyptian to top the list at the 1996 Games in Atlanta. 1936 Olympics Eltouny was one of the sensations of the 1936 Olympics. At the time, Eltouny had already set the world record for his weight class. The International Weightlifting Federation, however, did not recognize this as a world record, causing much controversy and anticipation. Joseph Melville Barnett (3 November 1920 – May 1999), was a Welsh born male weightlifter who competed for England and Wales. Yakov Kutsenko
Yakiv Hryhorovych Kutsenko (, 22 November 1915 – 13 August 1988) was a Ukrainian heavyweight weightlifter. Between 1946 and 1950 he won two European titles and two silver medals at world championships, both times losing to John Davis (weightlifter), John Davis. He was the Soviet heavyweight champion between 1937 and 1952, and in 1947 set three official world records in the clean and jerk. Kutsenko served as the List of flag bearers for the Soviet Union at the Olympics, Soviet flag bearer at the 1952 Summer Olympics. He was prevented from competing by Soviet authorities who expected the flag bearer to win a gold medal and believed Kutsenko wouldn't be able to achieve that. References

Arkady Nikitich Vorobyov (russian: Аркадий Никитич Воробьёв; 3 October 1924 – 22 December 2012) was a Soviet and Russian weightlifter, weightlifting coach, scientist and writer. He competed at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won one bronze and two gold medals. Between 1950 and 1960 he set 16 official world records. Later for many years he led the national team and the Soviet weightlifting program. In 1995 he was inducted into the International Weightlifting Federation Hall of Fame. Biography Vorobyov was born in the village of Mordovo in Tambov Oblast, Russia. During World War II he served in the Soviet Navy on the Black Sea.
