Ralph Ginn (July 23, 1907 – May 26, 1972) was an American football and basketball player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri from 1941 to 1942 and South Dakota State University from 1947 to 1968, compiling a career college football coaching record of 115–101–10. Ginn was also the head basketball coach at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska Wayne is a city in Wayne County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 5,660 at the 2010 census. The 1949 North Dakota Fighting Sioux football team, also known as the Nodaks, was an American football team that represented the University of North Dakota in the North Central Conference (NCC) during the 1949 college football season. In its first and only year under head coach Dick Miller, the team compiled a 4–3–1 record (3–2–1 against NCC opponents), tied for third place out of seven teams in the NCC, and was outscored by a total of 121 to 72.
