The 1946–47 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for that season. 43 teams participated, divided into six groups of six and one group of seven. Surahammars IF is a sports club in Surahammar, Sweden. The club was officially founded on 4 June 1914, although the activity started in 1911. Degerfors () is a locality and the seat of Degerfors Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden, with 7,160 inhabitants in 2010. Degerfors is the sixth-largest city in Örebro County. IF Göta is a sports club in Karlstad, Sweden, founded in 1904. The club used to have a successful team in bandy, becoming Swedish champions six times, but now is only concentrated on athletics. Falu BS
Falu Bandysällskap, ''Falu BS'', is a bandy club from Falun in Sweden. Falu BS was founded as ''Falu Bollsällskap'' on 10 December 1935, by merging Falu BK, Holmens IF, Falu SK and IFK Falun. All these clubs were playing bandy. In 1936 the new club Falu BS started in Swedish division II. The jersey was like the one Falu BK had used, copper brown with the text "FALUN" on the chest. The home games were played at Främbyviken or Kvarnbergsplan (later to be called Kopparvallen). In 1939/1940 the team reached Bandyallsvenskan, the highest league in Sweden. Falu BS was second overall, only Sandvikens AIK were better. From this season on the "classic" colours of the team were used, blue jerseys with yellow collars. The team did not last more than one season in the Bandyallsvenska this time, but got back later. Krylbo () is a part of the town Avesta in Avesta Municipality, Dalarna County. It was a market town until it merged with the city of Avesta in 1966. Krylbo is mostly known for being an important railway hub called Avesta-Krylbo. IK Brage
Idrottsklubben Brage, also known as IK Brage or simply Brage, is a Swedish football club located in Borlänge. The club is affiliated with Dalarnas Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Domnarvsvallen. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are green and white. The club can be seen as a continuation of IK Blixt which was founded in the early 1920s but merged into Domnarvets GoIF in 1923. Two years later the merger was split and IK Blixt changed their name to IK Brage, after the Norse god Bragi.
