1946 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1946 Norwegian Football Cup was the 41st season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. The final was played at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on 13 October 1946, and was contested by the same two teams as in last year's final. The defending champions Lyn won 3-2 after extra time against last year's losing finalist Fredrikstad and secured their sixth title. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. Storms Ballklubb is a Norwegian association football club from Skien. Storm BK is the football-department of ''IF Storm'' and was founded on 12 July 1902. Nydalens Skiklub is a Norwegian sports club from Nydalen, Oslo. It was founded in , and has sections for orienteering, Nordic skiing and ski orienteering. The club organized national ski jumping competitions regularly from 1891 to 1953, and had its own ski jumping venue at Korsvoll. In orienteering, the club won national championships in relay in 1954 (men), 1968 (women), 1996, 1997 and 1999 (men), and 2000 and 2005 (women). Pors Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Porsgrunn, currently playing in the 3. divisjon. Pors plays in blue jerseys, and their home ground is Pors Stadion. Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000. Because of national rules of professional license for top clubs in Norway, the stadium has only been certified for 3,085 spectators. Built in 1939, it has remained the club's home ground ever since. Kristiansund Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club from Kristiansund, Møre og Romsdal. The men's football team currently plays in the Fourth Division, the fifth tier of the Norwegian football league system.
