The 1938 Oregon State Beavers football team represented Oregon State University in the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) during the 1938 college football season. In their sixth season under head coach Lon Stiner, the Beavers compiled a 5–3–1 record (4–3–1 against PCC opponents), finished in a tie for third place in the PCC, and outscored their opponents, 72 to 51. The Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) was a college athletic conference in the United States which existed from 1915 to 1959. Though the Pac-12 Conference claims the PCC's history as part of its own, with eight of the ten PCC members (including all four original PCC charter members) now in the Pac-12, the older league had a completely different charter and was disbanded in 1959 due to a major crisis and scandal. The 1938 UCLA Bruins football team represented the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the 1938 college football season. Coached by William H.
