The Southwest Conference (SWC) was an NCAA Division I college athletic conference in the United States that existed from 1914 to 1996. Composed primarily of schools from Texas, at various times the conference included schools from Oklahoma and Arkansas. Quigley Stadium (Little Rock)
Quigley Stadium is a football stadium used by Little Rock Central High School. Prior to its 1930s remodeling, the area was known as Kavanaugh Field and was the home field of the Little Rock Travelers baseball team. The stadium was built by the Works Progress Administration in 1936 and seats 15,000. At that time it was the largest stadium in the state of Arkansas. It has been used by many high school and college football teams, including the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Razorbacks (prior to 1948) and the Philander Smith College Panthers.
