1932–33 French Rugby Union Championship
The 1932–33 French Rugby Championship was won by Lyon OU that defeated Narbonne in the final. In this edition, there were the "come back" of the 14 club of the UFRA ( Union française de rugby amateur) after two year of separated championship. Really, the team readmitted were 12, because the Stade Nantais restart from the second division and the US Narbonne disappeared. In any case were 54 the teams admitted at the championship, divided in 6 pools of nine Six team participating at previous edition were not qualified: Cognac, Lorrain, Romans-Péage, La Teste, SC Toulouse and Villeneuve-sur-Lot Eight were the "new" clubs respect the previous edition: Angoulême, Bergerac, Dax, Libourne, Oyonnax, Pamiers, Primevères, and Valence Sportif. Aviron Bayonnais Rugby Pro
Aviron Bayonnais ( eu, Baionako Arrauna), commonly called Bayonne, is a French rugby union club from Bayonne (''Baiona'', in Basque) in Pyrénées-Atlantiques which, for the 2016-17 season, competed in the top tier of the French league system, in the Top 14 competition. In the 2015–16 Rugby Pro D2 Season they were promoted after finishing 2nd and winning the playoff final against Aurillac. In the 2016-2017 season, they finished in last place, and will be relegated back to Pro D2 for the 2017-18 season. Association Sportive Béziers Hérault ( oc, Associacion Esportiva de Besièrs Erau), often referred to by rugby media simply by its location of Béziers, is a French rugby union club currently playing in the second level of the country's professional rugby system, Pro D2. US Montauban ( oc, Union Esportiva Montalban) is a French rugby union club that currently competes in Rugby Pro D2, the second level of the country's professional league system. They have also competed at the top level, Top 14, in the past, most recently between 2007 and 2010. The club is based in Montauban in the ''département of'' Tarn-et-Garonne in Occitania. Club Athlétique Brive Corrèze Limousin, also referred to as CA Brive, Brive () or CAB, is a French professional rugby union club based in Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the Corrèze department.
