Herminio Masantonio (5 August 1910 – 11 September 1956) was an Argentine football centre-forward. He played most of his career for Huracán and represented Argentina at international level. Masantonio is one of Huracán's legends, being the all-time top scorer of the club. Besides, he is placed 3rd. in the list of Argentine Primera División top scorers with 253 goals in 358 matches. Francisco Antonio “Pancho” Varallo (; – ) was an Argentine football forward. He played for the Argentina national team from 1930 to 1937. He represented Argentina at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930. During his career, Varallo won four Primera División titles (one with Gimnasia y Esgrima LP and three with Boca Juniors) and with 194 goals in 222 official matches, is Boca Juniors' 3rd. highest all-time leading goalscorer. Alejandro Scopelli Casanova (, ; 12 May 1908 – 23 October 1987) was an Italian Argentine football player and coach. A striker, he played for Argentina between 1929 and 1941, and competed at the inaugural 1930 FIFA World Cup. He also represented the Italy national football team on one occasion. Playing career Born in La Plata, Scopelli started his career in Argentina with Estudiantes de La Plata where he became part of the legendary side nicknamed "Los Profesores". Alberto Maximo Zozaya (13 April 1908 – 17 February 1981) was an Argentine football striker who played most of his career for Estudiantes de La Plata and represented the Argentina national team. Playing career Alberto "Don Padilla" Zozaya started his career in the early 1930s with Estudiantes. He was the first player to score a goal in the professional era of Argentine football, which began in 1931. Zozaya became an integral part of the Estudiantes team of the 1930s nicknamed "Los Profesores" (The Professors). In 1931 he scored 33 goals in the league to become the top scorer in the Primera División Argentina and the whole of South America. In 1937 Zozaya played in the South American Championship 1937 helping Argentina to win the title with a contribution of 5 goals. In 1939 Zozaya moved to Racing Club de Avellaneda but he only played 2 games before moving to Bella Vista in Uruguay but he did not settle there either and retired at the end of the 1940 season.
