1929–30 FC Basel Season
The FC Basel 1929–30 season was their thirty seventh season since the club's foundation on 15 November 1893. FC Basel played their home games in the Landhof in the district Wettstein in Kleinbasel. The club's new chairman was former player Otto Kuhn who took over the presidency from Hans Rupprecht at the AGM on 6 July 1929. Overview The former Hungarian international footballer Gyula Kertész was coach/manager for the second successive season. He coached the team in a total of 41 matches in their 1929–30 season. 20 of these matches were in the domestic league, 16 in the qualification round and four in the final round. Four matches were in the Swiss Cup and 17 games were friendly matches. Of these 17 friendlies three were played at home in the Landhof and the other 14 were away games. Mjøndalen IF Fotball – commonly known as Mjøndalen IF, and (especially locally) Mjøndar'n or MIF – is the football department of Mjøndalen IF. Alfred Enderlin
Alfred Enderlin (* unknown; † unknown) was a Swiss-German footballer who played for FC Basel. He played mainly in the position of forward. He was known as Enderlin (I) because his brother Hermann Enderlin (II) played for Basel during the same period, but as a defender. Club career Between the years 1926 and 1933 Enderlin (I) played a total of 138 games for Basel scoring 68 goals. 85 of these games were in the Swiss Serie A, 13 in the Swiss Cup and 40 were friendly games. He scored 39 goals in the domestic league, 11 in the cup and the other 18 were scored during the test games. A well-documented curiosity was that at the end of Basel's 1929–30 season, the team set off on a Scandinavian football tour, including a visit to Germany. FC Aarau
FC Aarau is a Swiss football club based in Aarau. They play in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football after being relegated from Swiss Super League. History FC Aarau was formed on 26 May 1902 by workers from a local brewery. The early days of the club were a success and they won the Swiss championship in 1911–12 and then again in 1913–14. Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen.
