William Boardman Armstrong
William Boardman Armstrong (July 19, 1883 – January 16, 1954) was a lawyer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Colchester County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1925 to 1928 as an Independent Conservative member. He was born in Truro, Nova Scotia, the son of Reverend John J. Armstrong and Harriet ELlen Layton. Alexander Stirling MacMillan
Alexander S. MacMillan (October 31, 1870 – August 7, 1955) was a Nova Scotia politician and businessman, the 13th premier of Nova Scotia, from 1940 to 1945. MacMillan was born in Upper South River in Antigonish County. He made his fortune in lumbering and construction before being made chairman of the Nova Scotia Highways Board in 1920 and serving briefly as minister of highways in 1925. He was a member of Nova Scotia's appointed upper house, the Legislative Council from 1925 until 1928 when he won a seat in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as a Liberal. Jean-Louis Philippe Robicheau (June 30, 1874 – March 1, 1948) was a farmer, lumber merchant and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. Harry Thompson MacKenzie (April 29, 1895 – May 22, 1952) was a manufacturer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Annapolis County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1925 to 1933 as a Liberal-Conservative member. Annapolis (provincial Electoral District)
Annapolis is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. The district was created in 1867 and was abolished in 1953 when it was re-distributed into Annapolis East and Annapolis West. The district was re-formed in 1993 and its boundaries were changed following the 2012 electoral reform commission to include the portion of Digby-Annapolis within Annapolis County north of Maitland Bridge. Glace Bay-Dominion
Glace Bay-Dominion is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. The Member of the Legislative Assembly since 2021 is John White of the Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia. It was created in 1933 when the district of Cape Breton was divided into five electoral districts, one of which was named Cape Breton East. In 2001, the district name was changed to Glace Bay. In 2003, the district lost a small area at its southern tip to Cape Breton West.
