Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Contested by 18 clubs, operating a system of promotion and relegation with the I liga, seasons start in July, and end in May or June the following year. Teams play a total of 34 games each. Games are played on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The winner of the Ekstraklasa qualifies for the Polish SuperCup. The league is now operated by the Ekstraklasa Spółka Akcyjna. Czarni Lwów
Czarni Lwów was one of the first Polish professional sports clubs with the well developed football section as well as ice hockey among the several other sports. The football club was started in the late 19th century in Lwów as a school football section Sława Lwów. In 1903 the name was changed and the club became professional. Henryk Reyman
Henryk Tomasz Reyman (28 July 1897 – 11 April 1963) was a Polish footballer, sports official and military officer. He fought in World War I in the Austrian Army, then in the Polish Army in the Polish-Soviet War, and also participated in the Silesian Uprisings. The exact number of goals he scored for Wisła Kraków in all of his games is unknown but it's estimated to be over 378 goals (in 328 games) Sports career Born in Kraków, Reyman joined Wisła Kraków in 1910 and remained with the club until his death. He made his debut in the first squad in 1914. When Reyman began his career in Wisła it was one of the oldest Polish football clubs but had no great sports success. By the end of his career in 1933 Wisła was already the champions team which year to year was said to prevail in the National Football League. Potetball (also known as ball, klubb, kumle, komle, kompe, raspeball) is a traditional Norwegian potato dumpling. A similar German dish is called '' Kartoffelklöße''. Union Touring Łódź
Union Touring Łódź was a Polish football club from the city of Łódź. Union Touring was created in 1932 as the result of a merger of Klub Turystow Łódź and SS Union Łódź. In late 1938 the team was promoted to the Polish football League and appeared in the unfinished 1939 season. Union Touring's promotion was the result of several games. Firstly, in regional tournament, Łódź's side scores were: with Zaglebie Dabrowa Gornicza 5-0 and 2–1, with Legia Warszawa 4-1 and 0-1 and with Unia Lublin 3-0 and 3–1. Then, next stage was a national qualifying tournament. There, in late 1938, Union Touring's results were: with Garbarnia Kraków 1-2 and 3–2, with Śląsk Świętochłowice 4-1 and 3-0 and with Policyjny KS Luck 2-0 and 3-3.
