1925 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1925 Norwegian Football Cup was the 24th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. Brann won their second title, having beaten Sarpsborg in the final. Odd were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Ørn in the quarterfinal. Sportsklubben Djerv is a sports club from Møhlenpris, Bergen in Norway. The club was founded on 18 May 1913, and today it has sections for football, floorball, badminton, basketball and gymnastics. The club had an ice hockey department until 1985. History The club was founded on 18 May 1913 by boys from the Møhlenpris neighbourhood in Bergen. Football In the interwar period, the club's football team achieved good results and challenged Brann as the leading team from Bergen. The football team participated in the inaugural season of national league football in Norway; the 1937–38 Norgesserien. This season, Djerv won their group and reached the championship semi-finals where they were lost 2–3 at home against Lyn and were eliminated. Holmestrand IF
is a town and municipality in Vestfold in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Holmestrand. The town was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The neighboring rural municipality of Botne was merged into the municipality of Holmestrand on 1 January 1964. Sande municipality merged into Holmestrand on January 1, 2020. The municipality of Hof was merged into Holmestrand on January 1, 2018. The town lies by the Oslofjord and is built beside the water. Fredrikstad (; previously ''Frederiksstad''; literally "Fredrik's Town") is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Fredrikstad. Fredrikstad Stadion was the homeground of the Norwegian top division football club Fredrikstad FK until the end of the 2006 season, due to their new and modernized stadium at the borough of Kråkerøy, only a few minutes away from the city center. Finn Berstad
Finn Berstad (17 July 1901 — 1 October 1982) was a Norwegian footballer. Club career Berstad was a striker in his early career, but was later used as a central defender. Some remember Berstad for his penalty kick against Swedish team Djurgården in the summer of 1920 on Brann stadion, when he missed on a blank goal on purpose. He played for SK Brann, and won the Norwegian cup title in 1923 and 1925. Fotballklubben Narvik/Nor was a Norwegian association football club from Narvik. It existed until late 1997, when it was merged with junior partner FK Mjølner to form Narvik FK. Ranheim Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Ranheim in Trondheim that currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier in the Norwegian football league system. Ranheim is the football department of Ranheim IL, founded on 17 February 1901.
