The 1922 South American Championship play-off was a match held between Brazil national football team, Brazil and Paraguay national football team, Paraguay to determine the winner of the 1922 South American Championship, the 6th edition of this continental championship. It was held on November 6, 1922, at Estádio das Laranjeiras of Rio de Janeiro. At the end of the regular tournament, those two teams, along with Uruguay national football team, Uruguay, were tied for the first place, but Uruguay withdrew from competing further.1922: Un siglo en pequeñas historias

The sixth edition of the South American Championship was scheduled to be held in Chile, but Brazil asked to host it as part of its 100th anniversary independence celebrations.
