Amanda Rylander
Amanda Fredrika Rylander (14 October 1832, Jäder, Södermanland – 15 October 1920, Kvillinge, Östergötland) was a Swedish stage actress. She was a noted actress in Sweden in the late 19th-century. She was born to the inspector Johan Rylander and the sister of the actresses Ottilia Littmarck and Clara Björlin. She was active at the Anders Selinder theater company in 1857–59, the Pierre Deland theater in 1859–62, before she was employed at the Swedish Theatre in Helsinki in Finland in 1863. She was finally to be one of the most well known actors in Gothenburg, where she was active in 1870–90. Rylander was popular within comedies. Her most noted roles were Fadette in ''Syrsan'' and Opportune in ''Fregattkaptenen''. Her way of acting was described as warm and jolly. See also * Charlotta Djurstrom References

Anna Rönström
Anna Rönström (1847–1920) was a Swedish educator. She was a local pioneer of female education in Lund, and the founder of the secondary education school (Higher Elementary School in Lund) for girls, also customarily known as (Rönström School). Life Anna Rönström was a student of the ''Högre lärarinneseminariet'' in Stockholm 1864–1867, and worked as a governess in Lund before she founded her own school for girls in 1871. The school was originally referred to as Rönström School () after its founder, and became the first school in Lund to provide secondary education to females in preparation for university studies. In this, Rönström and her school was a typical representative of other female pioneers who opened the first secondary education schools for girls in different Swedish cities, comparable to other local pioneers such as Maria Henschen in Uppsala, Maria Stenkula in Malmö and Elsa Borg in Gävle. Agda Montelius
Agda Georgina Dorothea Alexandra Montelius née ''Reuterskiöld'' (23 April 1850 – 27 October 1920) was a Swedish philanthropist and feminist. She was a leading figure of the Swedish philanthropy, active for the struggle of women's suffrage, and chairman of the Fredrika Bremer Association in 1903–1920. Biography Montelius was born in Köping in 1850, the daughter of the government defence minister and noble Lieutenant General Alexander Reuterskiöld and Anna Schenström. She was educated at the fashionable girls' school '' Hammarstedtska flickskolan'' in Stockholm. On 20 September 1871, she married the Swedish archaeologist and professor Oscar Montelius (1843–1921). Ida Göthilda Nilsson
Ida Göthilda Nilsson (7 February 1840 – 24 December 1920) was a Swedish artist (sculptor). Daughter of the professor and zoologist in Lund, Sven Nilsson, she was active as her father's assistant. Nanna Hoffman
Nanna Hoffman (23 May 1843 – 21 June 1920) was a Swedish entrepreneur and piano manufacturer. Biography Nanna Oscara Maria Nicolina Westin was born in Södertälje, Sweden. She was the daughter of landowner Carl Oscar Westin (d. 1850), who owned the , and Thora Johanna Arvidsson. Her father died bankrupt, and both she and her mother made a living as governesses until their marriages. In 1864 she married , owner of a piano factory. She became the owner and managing director of ' ('August Hoffman Piano Factory') in Stockholm after the death of her husband in 1884. Her time as director was a period of great success for the company. When her husband died, the company suffered a loss because until then it had been producing square pianos, which in the 1870s were outcompeted by a new model of piano; the pianino, a small upright piano.
