Swedish Football Champions
Swedish football champions ( sv, Svenska mästare i fotboll) is a title held by the winners of the highest Swedish football league played each year, Allsvenskan. Malmö FF are the holders of the record of most titles with 22 Swedish championships. After winning the 2021 Allsvenskan, Malmö FF are also the reigning Swedish football champions. The title has been contested since 1896 in varying forms of competition. The first Swedish Champions, Örgryte IS, were declared in 1896 when the club won the cup tournament Svenska Mästerskapet. This happened before there existed any Swedish national association, which was not created until 1904. The winners of Svenska Mästerskapet between 1896 and 1904 have retroactively been declared holders of the title by the Swedish Football Association (SvFF). IFK Uddevalla
IFK Uddevalla is a Swedish football club located in Uddevalla and played two seasons in the highest Swedish league, Allsvenskan, in 1925–26 and 1926–27. Background Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Uddevalla were formed on 19 May 1905 and is today the oldest active football club in Bohuslän. The club's first committee was made up of John Andrén (chairman), Viktor Karlsson (vice chairman), Awe Johansson (treasurer), Mikael Swanberg (secretary), Johan Johansson, Albert Johansson, Gustav Lidman, Axel Hagman, Karl Hansson, Albert Andersson and Hans Lundgren . Originally IFK Uddevalla had many sections, but football has always been the dominant sport. Surte IS
Surte () is a locality situated in Ale Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 5,798 inhabitants in 2010. Surte Church is located in the town. It is located some 15 kilometers north of Gothenburg. Surte became well-known for its glass works that started production in 1862 and became one of the major mechanized glass works in Sweden. It was bought by in 1960 and shut down in 1978. In Surte, there was a large landslide in 1950, which killed one person and destroyed 30 houses. More houses had to be removed, causing 450 people to lose their home. It also blocked the river which had frequent ship traffic. Surte was the hometown of Alexander Samuelson. Although he was not the designer, he was the man named on the 1915 design patent for the legendary contour Coca-Cola bottle. Idrottsföreningen Elfsborg, more commonly known as IF Elfsborg or simply Elfsborg (), is a professional football club based in Borås, Sweden, and is affiliated to the Västergötlands Fotbollförbund. They play in the Allsvenskan and have spent most of their history in the top tier of Swedish football. Their homeground is Borås Arena, where they have played since 17 April 2005. The club was founded in 1904 by a group of 19 youngsters which all were 14–15 years old. ''Borås Fotbollslag'' was formed in Ordenshuset at Landala (today Knalleland) on 26 June 1904. IS Halmia
IS Halmia is a football club, located in Halmstad, Sweden. Background IS Halmia was founded on 16 June 16, 1907 and currently plays in Division 2 Västra Götaland. In early years, the club also played bandy. The first ever bandy game between two organised teams in Halland, is thought to have been played between Halmia and local rival Halmstads BK in 1922. In 1932 Halmia won the Halland district championship in this sport. In 1932 the club also became the first team from Halmstad to reach the Allsvenskan, the top-tier football league in Sweden. IF Verdandi is a sports club in Eskilstuna, Sweden, established in 1900. The club runs soccer, earlier also amateur wrestling, bandy, cycling, and table tennis.
